Water may appear a very inexpensive resource but with the advent of bottled water as a luxury item, many companies are increasing the prices on some really “fine” waters. With these sparkling jewel-embedded bottles it might become one of the most expensive beverages. Be it a bottle of water worth $1,570 or a bling H2o worth a million, it’s surely for the uber-rich who have a stylish lifestyle and can splurge money for these most expensive water bottles. 1.Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani

The title of world’s most expensive bottled water goes to “Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani.” Designed by Fernando Altamirano, the 1.25 ml bottle is equipped with 24-karot gold, spring water from France and the Fiji Islands, and a price tag of $60,000! It was sold on March 4, 2010, and proceeds went to the “Planet Foundation.”

2. Kona Nigari Water

Number two on list is the “Kona Nigari Water.” With a price tag of $33.50 per 2 oz bottle, and a $402.00 per 750 ml bottle, this Hawaiian brand is a major player in the bottled water industry! The water comes from a depth of 915 feet, and the logo is even state-certified.

3. Fillico

Number three in the list is the “Fillico” brand. Made is Osaka Japan, the bottle has a beautiful design, gold King and Queen Tops, and a cool price of $219!

4. Bling H2O

For $40 USD you too can have the privilege of tasting this water called BlingH2O! What kind of water is it? Well, it’s just water, Available in US$40 750ml and US24$ 350ml versions the frosted corked bottles are covered with hand-applied Swarovski crystals. Bling H2O is the creation of Hollywood writer-producer Kevin G.Boyd. The drink has shown up at the Grammy’s and MTV Music Awards in the hands of celebrities such as Jamie Foxx, Mariah Carey and Shaquille O’Neal. The newspapers reported that the goddess of conspicuous consumption Paris Hilton has tasted the water too.

Although not the most expensive bottled water in the world, I would think twice before $23 on a bottle of water.
