1.       The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists-
Starring Hugh Grant, David Tennant, Imelda Staunton, Martin Freeman and directed by Peter Lord, it  is an animated movie where  Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role as the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain. It’s a quest that takes the heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they do battle with the pirate-hating Queen Victoria (Imelda Staunton) and team up with a young Charles Darwin (David Tennant), but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!
2.       Avengers Assemble-
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson and directed by Joss Weldon, it is a complete fun packed action movie. Marvel Super Heroes, w Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow gets into a team when global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, to save the world from disaster.
3.       The Descendants-
Starring George Clooney, Judy Greer, Beau Bridges, Matthew Lillard and directed by Alexander Payne, The Descendants was released in the year 2011. This is a story a person who tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers an accident.
4.       The Hunger Games-
Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson and directed by  Gary Ross , this movie is based on the best-selling trilogy, Hunger Games is set in a post apocalyptic North America, which is now called Panem and divided into twelve districts. Every year the Capitol of Panem forces each of the districts to give two teenagers to “The Hunger Games”, a death-match broadcast to the whole nation. Only one can survive.
5.       The Dictator-
Starring  Sacha Baron Cohen, Megan Fox, Anna Faris, John C. Reilly and directed by  Larry Charles, this is a movie  of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
6.       21 Jump Street-
Starring: Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Brie Larson, Dave Franco and directed by  Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, this movie is about  an undercover police unit consisting of young looking officers sneak into high schools to control youth crime.
7.       Safe-
Starring Jason Statham, Chris Sarandon, James Hong, Catherine Chan and directed by Boaz Yakin, this is a good fast moving story with twists. An agent rescues a Chinese girl who has been abducted by the Triads, then use a highly desired safe combination to beat the Russian Mafia, corrupt NYC officials, and the Triads themselves.
8.       Cabin In the Woods-
Starring Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Richard Jenkin/ Bradley Whitford and directed by Drew Goddard, this is a horror and suspense movie. This is a story about a group of 5 college friends who experience twisted and wicked fun in an isolated country cabin.
9.       Snow White And The Huntsman-
Starring Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Sam Claflin, Sam Spruell and directed by Rupert Sanders. Snow White is the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen who wants to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman sent to kill her.
10.   Dr Seuss’ The Lorax-
Starring  Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White and directed by Chris Renaud , it is a story of a boy who searches for a way to win the affections of the girl of his dream. To find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. A good movie to watch with family and kids.
