Sports utility vehicles are like minivans which have the same platform as a mini truck and are famous for it’s on the road and off the road abilities. SUVs are powerful, grand and super classy. Most of the SUVs are used on paved roads but its true use can be known on rough and hilly areas. The term SUV is used in North American only. In others places it is called as  “off-road vehicle”, “four-wheel drive” or “four-by-four” (abbreviated to “4WD” or “4×4”) or simply the brand name of the vehicle is used like ‘jeep’ or ‘land rover’. There are a lot of SUVs in the world but here is a list of top 10 SUVs in respect of quality, power and comfort-

1.Mercedes – Benz M class ML350 TEC SUV-
The brand name ‘Mercedes-Benz’ is so well established that no other brands can beat it. If you think of an SUV, a Voyager like model will come to your mind. Chrysler Voyager was the first minivan in the market. After Chrysler recently merged with Fiat, the company has introduced the Lancia New Voyager which is absolute pleasure to drive. The 2012 Lancia New Voyager comes in Silver, Gold and Platinum trims and with two different engines. The first is a 283 horsepower 3.6 petrol engines while the other is a fantastic 163 horsepower 2.8 diesels. Both the engines are Euro 5-compliant and are matched up with a six-speed automatic transmission. It also has the Stow ‘n Go feature, which allows you to fold and virtually hide seats to open up cargo space. With this feature you don’t have to remove the seats completely to make space for cargo.

10. Cadillac Escalade Hybrid SUV-
Escalade Hybrid comes with a very strong 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 332 horsepower and 367 pound-feet of torque, making it a surprisingly powerful vehicle. The Escalade Hybrid uses two types of power, including electricity produced by electric motors and the power generated by the gas engine. It has an EPA approximated 23 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city, making it the greatest fuel optimized vehicle in its segment.
